Hardy Hibiscus ‘Luna™ Rose’ makes a wonderful addition to the summer garden, blooming from midsummer to frost. The large deep-rose flowers with a ruby center are pollinator favorites, attracting hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Compact plants with dark green leaves need no pruning, plant them in compost-enriched well-drained soil in a sunny location where the soil can be kept moist. They may die back in winter but will appear again once the soil has warmed in late spring. Luna ‘Rose’ will do its best when given a balanced fertilizer () once a month during the summer. Mulch well in the winter for the first few years as the plant gets established.
